Story of TTAA
TTAA was formed in the year 2019 taking into consideration of the various issues and hurdles that are being faced in transporting the Tourist safely in the North Easter states of India. There were no support system specially for this category of the service providers, whereas this Sector needs special care for the development of Tourism of North East India as a whole.
Achievements so far
•3 State Permit being reinstated instead of only AITP
•Educated whole drivers and owners the New Process of applying for 3 State and AITP
•Helped Meghalaya Associations as well to get the 3 State permit Re-instated.
•Initiated Protest against the new Hit and Run Law and put on hold along with MPSSM
•Yearly Drivers Training Program on topics list Etiquettes, Behavior, Dress Up, Soft Skills, New Tourist Spots/Destinations and Sectors, BS6 vehicle handling and issues related etc.
•Addressed and Resolved the recent Meghalaya and Assam Taxi Associations conflict on No Assam Registered Vehicle entry in Meghalaya Tourist spots
•Leading Legal protest against the burden of New Tax Schemes of One Time Tax (15 Years) for vehicles with seating capacity up-to 10 Seats (Swift Dzire, Innova etc)
Future TTAA
•We are focused on making and giving the best Drivers to this industry that is the front face of the Tourism and for that we will double the training processes and arrange all necessary Skill development programs.
•Will attend all necessary events all across India for the Promotion of Tourist Destination of Assam
•We would do every necessary roles and steps as backend support system to operate Tourist Transport smoothly and successfully in Assam
•Associated with Motor Parivahan Sewakarmi Sanmilito Mancho and other Trade Unions to get the benefits delivered as Pension and Insurances and Social Security (Motor Sramik Law) to our Drivers and Transport Operators
